The experience while using the Sacrament is only a fraction of the work. Preparation before the experience and integration after the experience are key to safety and sincerity in your worship. See below for some ideas
Prepare, "Set & Setting", Integrate
Preparation

"set" or Mindset
As you Journey, take time to set your intention, or purpose, for taking the Sacrament. This can help set an area for your consciousness to explore
"setting", your physical space
Set up a safe physical space for your journey, think about comfort as well. A great idea is having a journey buddy/guide to support you
Journaling
Its a really good idea to write down your intentions for your Journey, jot down ideas that come during your Journey, and capturing experiences you had post Journey
Music
Music IS Medicine. I highly recommend you have some playlists to choose from during your Journey. This playlist is inspired by the Johns Hopkins research team: Psilocybin Playlist
Aftercare
Expanding your consciousness is a good bit of work! 🙂 Plan for some rest, reflection, and support in the days that follow. Plan to work on Integration!
